IFDC is an amateur dramatics organisation located in Ingatestone, Essex.
Non-member Message
Our main aim is to study and perform any kind of theatrical work. The Club aims to be innovative and enterprising, building on the enthusiastic foundations laid by its founder members.
Our Productions
The IFDC produce 1 to 2 plays a year with varying themes, size of cast, directors etc. and within all of these, a range of different roles are available; from acting to stage crew, to sound and lighting, to set design/building, to costumes and make-up, prompt, even (perhaps) directing your own show! There's so much to get involved in.
As if that isn't enough, there are always the social aspects, play readings, theatre trips, the pub (after rehearsals) and a meal out on a production night. There're lots of friends to be made and lots of fun to be had.
Our Theatre Space
The majority of Club productions are staged in Ingatestone & Fryerning Community Club Theatre. This hall seats up to 300 people and has a large stage with good stage equipment, excellent sound and lighting systems, and adequate changing facilities.
Our Rehearsal Rooms
The Club mainly rehearses at the Fryerning Parish Hall, which has wonderful acoustics.
